At Copper Mountain Ranch our philosophy is to ride safely and correctly at all levels, for the mutual enjoyment and advancement of both the horse and rider.
We believe in and practice humane gimmick free methods that enhance a horse and riders natural connection. Our popular beginner program provides a solid foundation in correct riding, handling and stable management basics.
Coaching packages are available for groups wishing to school on the ranch with their own certified coach.
Level I I I 3-Day Event Coach and Program Co-ordinator, Jeanine Ellingham is also a Pacific Rim certified jumper and dressage judge. She has successfully competed at the National and International level and was a member of the Canadian Equestrian Team from 1991 to 1994. She has produced many well-trained horses and riders in BC. Jeanine also has a degree in Special Education from the University of British Columbia and is a strong supporter of riding for the disabled.
Level I C.E.F. Coach Ilana Fraser is an extremely knowledgeable and effective teacher. Her endless cheerful patience puts beginner and novice adult and children students at ease.
